Microfiction Monday

Time for MicroFiction with Susan. Squish all your thinking into 140 characters or less, is the general gist.

Today's picture:

  And my thoughts on it:

“Ivorine will get your wash clean!”  Well, that and a little girl to do the scrubbing.

He, he, he.
This gloomy Monday's I'd rather be:

"I'd rather be at work, where my boss pays for whatever the thermostat says, than at home, where my husband would rather we wear sweaters and keeps it at a miserly 67 degrees."

This from one of my co-workers.  At home I am the miser.  Besides, sweaters are great for padding little boys who are too adventurous for their own good.

Have a good Monday, everyone.

Yup- sweaters pad elbows, and prevent some scrapes! Nothing better than a thick ski sweater! thanks.

I guess the clothes don't clean themselves very well. Darn it!
Good one for the day.

I'd rather be at work than home shoveling the driveway. Fortunately for me, Podunk schools closed down today, so I have a teenager doing it for me.

Now, if I could just get my boss to give US a snow day.

Great one for the day! Wish those clothes would find a way to clean themselves, too!!! Hope your week goes well!

Laundry--blech! It's the bane of my existence--it always piles up again.
I'd rather be working than going to Turbo's school for a conference on how he's doing with reading. I hate school conferences.

I am also Miser. House is cold and we wear sweaters.

Slice of life with this one. I need that girl to stop by here when she's through, and bring a sweater or three.

Someone has to do the wash! Even now, someone has to put the cloths in the washer, good micro!

Ha! I wish I had someone to do my laundry. Good one! Freezing here today...25 degrees with snow flurries. So glad to be indoors.

I'd rather be at work than outside. It's colder out there for once. :-)

Ah yes, the little girl doing the work never gets a break, does she?

I feel for her, that's for sure!

You made her sound so real I almost feel sorry for her. Almost. Great take on this.

Good thing Ivorine had a little girl to ensure it did what the advertisers said it would do!!!
Have a great week. Cheers!

A little girl with a happy, positive outlook on life helps in getting that wash done, too!

My hubby likes to keep the thermostat at 67 or 68, too. I wear lots of layers.
